Shoes - check
Nails - check
Hair - check
Clothes - check
Bag - check
My office Laptop - check
Mobile phone - check
headphones - check
Time: 11:45 - check
Mumbling these things in mind, i get ready to leave my home from office. With ritual of customary kiss on let cheek by mom (it makes day go well - supersition), I leave my home, right foot out first n day begins!
Its been years since I developed the habit of making checklists. Some are on paper while some run through my head daily just like the debugger in my application ;) . Its in my blood or maybe DNA. Women love to be perfect, thus keep minutetest things go in the checklist so that nothing goes haywire. Learnt this habit from my maa, who ensures to have a list ticked before packing bags or going for shopping. if its there, its to do else if its not, add it :D.
A few weeks back, someone pointed to me that I live life by checklist, Engg -Check, good job- check. The point that was raised was that I dont live life on my own terms or do the things i really wanted or go out of way to do it without realising that a checklist was getting creating in background of things I dont do! Irony!!
